Weekend Wind Down

Well, it’s not exactly the end of the weekend, but close enough. I don’t know how a five day break goes so quickly, but I do know that a break was much needed. And after an exciting drive back from Detroit yesterday, I pretty much melted into my bed when I got home.

I had great intentions about Black Friday posts and giving thanks, etc., etc. but I realized the time just wasn’t there. I feel like I have been falling short in a few areas over the past month, but instead of beating myself up I took the opportunity to have some downtime this weekend to sideline social media and the blog and be present with family and friends. Kind of the point of the holiday, right? Which gave me a new perspective coming back to it last night.

I am super excited about what the rest of 2017 will bring on The Peaks & The Valleys – but in the meantime, here are some weekend recap photos!
